Apple announced that it will modify the provisions of subscription services for iPad and iPhone to loose subscription services' control on price.
After loosing the provisions of subscription services, newspapers, magazines and other publishers can sell the subscription service at other places rather than App Store.
Apple's the original policy was that publishers were not allowed to cut iPhone and iPad applications service price. On Thursday, apple said the provisions will no longer be valid.
This increased flexibility for publishers is not a tiny victory, as they previously have to give 30% of the revenue to Apple through the application service. Now they can provide discount services in other places such as their own websites. Also they can get more profit.
